in the foyer at jaguar coyline, platoon 2 did 20 push-ups for the last time as a platoon, doing it with pride, dignity and happiness. this was the day we were all looking forward to, the day which we will all remember that we will miss.
Passing Out Parade - 8th March 2006. I MADE IT!
from the land air and sea
we'll strike our enemies
they've called us the queen of the battlefield
we are brother in arms
we are brother proud to be
we are the first, the one and only infantry.
by the time we sang this song in harmony right in front of the crowd of parents, right in the parade square smartly, with our arms, i finally learnt to appreciate its meaning and the melody of such a beautifully crafted song. i will cherish the times in bmt, it was a rollercoaster ride surely as what terence mentioned.
bmt gave me many things to take away proudly with, and many memories both positive and negative to share with the generations to come. it gave me the sense of brotherhood between friends and buddies, something i must learn to exhibit now and forever. the friends i made in there were a great bunch, we laughed thru sad times, we wacked each other during happy times.
with that, i salute bmt from the bottom of my heart, take care. i am out of TEKONG :)

and other photos.

my one and only achievement to date.
