BUT

actually i was supposed to blog about this 10/20 years down the road after i've visited more countries. but since i felt like pouring it out now, i better do before i forget all about it.

alright, here it goes

after all the twisting and turning amongst all the countries(actually i mean cities, because the countries i've been to can be counted with prolly 1 hand so it doesnt lend much weight to my travel habits that i hope to accentuate) i've been to, im coming to the one big conclusion that was never meant to be.
when i first set out trying to peek at the world, i was convinced that Singapore is not the place that i wanna end up in eventually.
i am realising that i might be wrong.
but i was wrong.
after all the travelling and heading to all other exotic places, it just further affirms an innate love for Singapore, the place i call home. it taught me and will be continually regurgitating to me that

Singapore is home because
this is where i will be well fed with the warmest spoons in kitchen cutlery
this is where the desktop speakers feel the clearest and most melodious after being out of town for ages.
this is where the streets are familiar, too familiar to be lost among.
this is where the air is crystal clear and water running clean.
this is where friends all are.
and the most convincing reason - no matter how attractive the other place may be, i will always think of home - somehow, even a little.

feel free to disagree at what i've just told you,
for at the end of the day, you can always find me in the room of my home sipping coffee and enjoying the singapore air, prepared to welcome you back.

sweet.

because i also believe this is where home is. and it'll be just about the only place where you'd feel you really belong.
