times have changed

the AJCians today

• have little idea the AJ ice we used to share in our time.
• have little idea where their school stands in the current ranking while we unanimously knew AJ as the 6th best JC after the top 5 during our time.
• have AMK Hub as their leisure hangout while we could only head to Jubilee on free-er days.
• are used to a female principal leading them while we had Mr Tan
• enjoy an airconditioned hall while we had water spitting fans that only put more sweat to our exam scripts.
  
• are celebrating the 25th anniversary while we still remember the ugliest shirt ever designed for the 20th anniversary during our time

But they are still

• singing the same school song
• wearing the same blue uniform
• see 853 as the bus to serangoon
  
• used to not seeing a PSC scholar from AJ

Those were the days. They change and they don't.
