massive update

alrite guys, was afk for 1+ week because of hall camp and other activities around the week. super busy period, but finally manage to get thru it. fulfilling, busy and tiring but it was filled with fun and excitement, and i came to terms with things, realised and understood more about the frens around me. wonderful! had my share of sleep and rest over the past few days but return to hall really means that rest is again becoming more scarce. today we just woke up at 5am to rush down to airport to send our dear hallmate, joanna off to texas. she is really one brave soul that deserves my admiration and soon i will be needing all her experience and help to help me get thru the solo trip to michigan next semester.

coming to this, i am reminded that i have really alot of things yet to do. i need to get my prof to really approve the course matching and confirm that i am really going to be there during winter semester. i need to settle my scholarship applications. i have to look at astar scholarships for the straight phd route and i have to contemplate over the lucrative st engineering aero scholarship which looks tempting enough but i will be held on a tight leash for the next 6 years. sighs. choices choices. i have den to look at my timetable later and strategise wad subjects i can add and drop. start fretting for hall to think how i can contribute to hall. WORK WORK. it is really time to work!

anyways, NDP was great. this year's NDP is really pomp and well choreographed and super engaging. thumbss up to the guys this year. it was truly a worthy experience for me. thou i was half slacking most of my way haha.

happy bday singapore. i will remember home.

also, if you have been in marina sq the past few days and during NDP day, you could have seen my photo hanging around proudly :P

right. hall life is beginning again. the freshies look enthusiastic and energetic. we are also refreshed and ready to go.
here i go for year2 sem1 !
jiayou!

oh? A* bond only 6 years? thought it was ten. yea... think carefully, they want foreign talent in the sense of pple who have overseas degrees etc, and, i think more importantly, pple who have like impressive resumes of working in OTHER research facilities. You'll be like ard 37 by the time u finish your studies and bond, you know.
