our world class status

hey man, im back from e tiring driving course again! next tuesday's the real road test, hope to pass it and get the off in lieu as well as getting to stay out. cant wait for that to happen. heh.
anyways, the buzz in camp these few days wud definitely be the clearing of leave for my squadron. was asked to clear leave and plan for stuff within 1 day which i find rather amusing, not so much after raking my brain to realise im in the green uniform afterall. ok, so i had a spree of msgs to ppl asking them who wanna go overseas, got some replies and stuff, so had to settle for 1 week in nov and 1 week in dec. looks quite good, some ppl are interested, hope it wud work out fine, not some coup-up-in-house for 5 days kind of thing, wud really be a waste for my leave. so i shall be trotting around the global internet network tonight in search for the tour packages or airfares to get me off to 2 weeks of fun! hah, i cant wait to see the world, SEE THE DAMN WORLD. and get out of this place.
err, oh, talking about this place, i find singapore rather odd nowadays. as many editors or journalists may have observed and expressed concern, there is an increasing trend of confusion within. look as the staunch stand against the entry of protestors of the IMF, something that singaporeans have always acknowledged- the paramount importance of our safety and security. yet, surprisingly, some words from our american counterpart, head of IMF and some other organisations managed to swing the tide. gosh, whatever happened to our resolute nature shown in the recent vietnamese-australian drugtrafficker for the death penalty and michael fay incident. if the joke werent ticklish enough, check out what MM Lee suddenly blurted out causing a furore in the malaysian community. have we ever seen such a comment made by him? now the tides seem to be changing, we are going out of our safe zone to disturb others and retreating, like a predator testing his prey. ok, tat's quite in conjunction to opening up, the idea of letting ppl know singapore is a 'fun', 'happening' and wild society to begin with. ok fine, we need to remake our image, but with such stuff? maybe the casino, bartop dancing aint exactly hype enough i guess. wadever it is, i definitely think there's something wrong out there, somehow, and singaporeans are too, equally confused by the mixed signals we are sending.
if it were down to luck, i think singapore is lacking luck nowadays, even our 'coup' of shincorp caused such a major incident in the region. geez! to think about it now, singapore is quite mighty :( just kidding. but check out the new shincorp we have! maybe we could have spent more money in investing in electrical engineers to line the wadever 500km+ of electrical wiring in the A350 so that our SIA can reap benefits faster.
sighs, i think im going groggy with such stuff, moreover, i maintain that im rather poor, so i shall stop here, dont really have money to visit courtrooms.
:p
