today is still a great day for soccer despite the lousy morning for it. heh.

played at kallang today
made numerous saves from freekicks and shots
but made silly mistakes, numerous again
such as throwing directly to e opponent -.-
i wasnt very clear in the mind i guess
but well, we won 5-0 against some guys quite mature, 30s i guess
beautiful game, most beautiful i played so far
goal 1 was a perfectly placed header from a corner
goal 2 was such a deft chip over the keeper
the death knell came when goal 3 20yard shocker
beyond our imagination, our right winger stuck the ball with such venom
that it few straight, took a swerve and hit into the top left corner.
wad the hell, its a goal of my lifetime if i ever scored that haha.
we kept disturbing him that we want another video replay
but yea, tat moment will last forever for him and us.
goal 4 was even more meaningful cause I BLOODY SCORED :)
its been like 5 years since i scored in a match, courtesy of penalties again.
award a penalty for shoving in the penalty box, i cheekily volunteered to do the converting.
i haf a habit of placing my shots right low, but they dont know, and the keerper went the wrong way ahha.
wad made it more satisfying was that i 'saved' a penalty in the first half, guessing corrrectly and scaring the taker with my antics on the goalline before his kick
he missed and we rejoiced.
goal 5 cud come no better to completely end the game.
a simple low cross from the right gave our defender who had a great game with me a simple touch to record his name on the score sheet.

quickly, i made my way home before meeting qiyuan and jingyang at amk s11 to watch manu vs liverpool live on espn. guess wad? manu won 2-0 ! :) haha, jubilation, manu looks freaking strong this season esp in attack and defence, it looks very very promising. scholes is a maestro whom i dunno how the hell he gets his vision and creativity and intelligent play from. he's simply iindispensible to manu. wad topped up the win even more was the entire control of the match by manu, turning liverpool into a bunch of kids running around for the ball aimlessly. perfect. ferdinand's goal was a real shocker. i dropped my jaws when i saw it was him who scored, cause the goal came quick and i tot i wud haf been fletcher or carrick, the way the guy feigned and volleyed. but it was rio! omg omg haha. wad a sublime way to announce manu is BACK. haha, yes we are, even the defenders are scoring, vidic, ferdinand. its really a team to watch this season, and i hope we go all the way to meet chelsea in quality. manu all the way !
