omg. i held the Nikon D3 !!
that's some 7-8k bux camera that's currently out of stock in singapore market due to overwhelming demand eversince it started shipping 1 month ago. crazy!
the picture quality and colour rendition according to the LCD is superb. great body, sturdy, good grip.
of cos.. turning to my d40.. it feels like im holding a toy camera now.. haha.
BUT, e photographic eye transcends equipment ok. yes, it does!
it reminds me how long it's been since i took my camera out for a proper shoot.. like 1 month already? damn, it felt quite long.. i guess i shall be taking time out to go out for some phototaking man.

come people, im still split for choice. a view of eiffel tower, munching a baguette while downing a little incomprehensible mathematics scribblings or having some tuna egg sandwich snugged in 'downtown' boonlay library overlooking a perennial construction site, last of a bus interchange? should i be taking photos while travelling down the tube or greeting someone from say my ns experience on the MRT to wonderful boonlay? 6 years down the education path or having a shot at commercial pilot and/or be some forbes top 10 most influential young adults of singapore?
sigh.

today in the nikon showroom while talking to the guy. he asked me if i am a student. i was donning a shirt, black pants, leather shoes, totally formal wear for work. i had to say yes, and he was not surprised. do i look so young and 'connable' for that matters? shit. i always tot i looked old. of cos i dont go around saying i look mature. in cambodia this translator said abt my age too, no way to be above 21. man, is my face so.. i-am-20 look? haha. but wells, on another note, its gd to be young. the working world is another phase that i dont want to enter. i want to keep the childhood, the interaction, the everything that i will miss.
no growing up!
