If you recommend something long enough, you will be right one day.

If you recommend something long enough, you will be right one day.

my mom discussing with me the aftermath of not taking the scholarship. suddenly she took a sharp poke at me that went somehow this way: "why is everything fine to you? cant you have some direction?"
subconsciously, the phrase that came out of my mouth to retort was "i have the aim now. to bring that place/course down"
i have an aim now

i have an aim now
i guess that is the difference i should be making in the time to come. giving up the 'dream' will not be easy to come to terms with but i reckon i cannot be walking in someone else's shadow for the whole life. i cannot be doing zhonghua(instead of victoria or something better; the funny thing is the reason to be in zhonghua was cause of distance. nothing else.) -> anderson(instead of vj; again, distance and 'easier') and den (thou, a top college) and end up teaching or wait to be sliding my way to the backup finance sector. i seek the chance to take a special direction never taken before and work it out with my hard work(more so now). with this motivation, i guess it can bring me even further in this (just) next phase of my life. it should, after all i finally, i hope, found direction.
i have an aim.

many stuff here are long overdue but i was kinda held up the few months before and did not haf time to maintain this dusty place. it shud be up and running again i guess.
im still waiting for my NTU matriculation package. i can imagine it to be interesting enough. maybe some leaves from the forest nearby wud be accidentally sealed in and mailed with it. that aside, i guess i have to sort out quite abit of stuff.. hall stuff, my medical checkup(which i've skipped previously), my study loan errr and some outstanding stuff.
im working on my finances to see how best to ease out the 4 years of painful struggle. right now things shud be probably fine and will see how it goes. if you guys need any JC tuition (group/individual) PLEASE DIRECT THEM TO ME :):) of cos, by now you should know i do maths/phy/chem. secondary is not my cup of tea, seriously. so yar. i need that extra tuition to work out my finances!
there's quite abit of stuff i ought to brush up before i hit uni. i am dead determined to make full use of this 4 years to shine in every area. i want to be involved in soccer, photography and aerospace engineering. i guess its really these 3 that should form my next 4 years of life. i need to exercise! more running and fitness training requireddddd. i ought to start being more active with my camera, been slacking quite abit lately. finally i guess i should take the july break before uni to start looking back at maths/phy work and start looking preliminarily at the lecture notes that will be hitting me fast and furiously.
right now i managed to find work in this korean govt/corporate(its complicated) agency helping out to organise this IT event in july. its interesting. i guess im applying more of myself in it. im stressed by the corporate world and their functioning but i love quite the bit of it (right now, at least) i guess. that extra spark really keeps you going, coupled with the passion and dedication in the work you do really tells me it will lead to somewhere. i'm not seeking the end of the tunnel with this job anytime yet, i can forsee; just that the bloody walk from cityhall to suntec is tremendously turning me off. its nice so far i guess, just not the money part but the experience is all it counts! what's more, i got more than i asked for. secretly.
yay. im almost ending.
i think there's this one article that is quite poignant abt the recent events that took the world by storm. its amazing, and i really experienced it with my first hand account, how people aim to make use of crisis to exploit business ideas. i guess there's a real limit to how we go about doing such things. it can be a good opportunity and im not saying it's not. it should just be done with sensitivity and at the very least an idea of humanity(even me, who possess not very much of it is critical abt this).
take a look at this.

photojournalism is really drawing. its not the photos that matter. its the visual experiences that accumulate from that journey. it can never be replicated.
