tried to believe

manchesterunited bid farewell to henrik larsson, a magnificent player on an opportunistic loan, yesterday as he played his last game for united against middlesbrough. he fought just as he did for the past 12 matches in his 3month loan. he captured the hearts of, i can proudly and firmly say, all of the manchesterunited fans with his cheeky flicks, immaculate positioning and selflessness. professional, simply professional. it must haf been more than a teary goodbye with his touching advice given to the players in the dressing room after the middlesbrough game. it is manu's loss, as well as our greatest gain. he came and he gave hope. it wud be unforgettable how he headed in ronaldo's cross in the CL game against lille, coming off the pitch with a standing ovation beyond gratitude from the fans, as well as the gaffer. he stood up and pat larsson on the back - a job well done, manu owe u far too much to ask you to stay any further. i must say its impossible for me not to pay tribute to such a player who changed history books in just 3 months. henrik larrson, manchester united, 2007.

just 2 weeks back i was tasked by fate to make a tough decision. i've contemplated enough, tot about it in my dreams time and time over and i believe that i haf come to an answer for myself. an answer that i believe in. its at this very period where most of us make lifechanging decisions with the opinion that u were meddling with lego bricks not too long ago;we just haf to make it when it comes. to those of you who are making such decisions, esp those who are considering courses to take, perhaps listen me out. for me, throughout this 2 weeks, i learnt to appreciate this one thing - the belief of being selfless. many a time, we go into the opinion that this is the life we want and we seek for it relentlessly, brushing aside the people who stood around us, who care for us. circumstances do pop up and if moms are willing to lay their lives for their children, i dun see why we shudnt do the same for them and be selfless at times. no, im not calling you to be completely retarded and say yes mum all the way as you are entitled to your opinion, but that shud be the most important factor you do consider - your bloody moral obligation. perhaps, just perhaps you live in a world of luxury where such things, if u realise, do not bother you, den it's definitely fine with me; for those who understand what i mean, maybe its time to rethink your objectives in life. i just did, and i was headstrong all the way. i learnt, and its prolly time you gave a try.

i was in a dimsum restaurant today celebrating some occasion with my paternal side family. my auntie suddenly mentioned that my grandma's sis is in a bad shape this new year. we had always been visiting her until last year when she lost her vision due to old age. this year, this very day, this was what i heard from my auntie "she doesnt haf time, the doctor says she has 3 days left", when my dad said we shall visit her next week. chilling as it was, it makes you feel so powerless, so powerless. it makes you feel u shud haf loved her much more long be4 this day. my auntie den said that she's still hanging on prolly because she still hasnt gotten to see someone she wants to see before she leaves. its so poignant, tat very statement. its makes me feel that for the close family members around me. i cant wait for the day i earn enough to feed myself, and provide for my family and to bring them out for treats, for holidays which they haf seldom enjoyed. i cant wait to do it that simply because i cannot let the day dawn when they are gone be4 i can lift my hand to do something for them. because i care. because they mean much much to me. because they were selfless in wadever they did for me. because i know, and i know very well.
