learning pick yourself up

all my life i have never fallen badly. that's not because im good, but because im afraid to fall.
we all are.

the dilemma of choice has once again hit me after i received news from imperial college on a place for aeronautical engineering. im stumped. all my life i've never dreamt of studying in UK, let alone witnessing this very events unfolding sequentially infront of me. its for my taking. but its for a price. everything has its price i guess.
there are people who talk about dreams and insist you should follow them. like steve jobs, i recommend this viewing
there are people who tell you to trust and follow your heart.
there are some who will tell you whatever you choose, you gotta put in your best in it and it will work.
there are those who think money is happiness.
there are people who tell you do whatever you are happy doing.
to all of them, there's a 'correct' path that leads out.
im edging closer and closer to making my final decision binding the next 10 years of my life. it has been weeks and weeks of serious deliberation and evaluation of all the possible outcomes for me. its because i feared. its because of greed. of cos, its not wrong thinking so hard with the avenues possible but what is more important is the happiness i would derive from the choice i make right now.
while i am making that life decision for myself, its good to share it with people whom are in the similar situation as i am.
i guess what people have never told you is this: there's no right or wrong in the choice you make. its how you live the path and make it yours. your unique life.
and remember its from yong chuen.
that's my greatest takeaway this dilemma, i hope it solves yours.

with that, learning to pick yourself up is as apt as the day today. manu came from 1-0 down in halftime to thump blackburn 4-1 in an impressive second half display showing grit, composure and desire to win. i salute the old horses keeping the system together, scholes, giggs and most majestic solksjaer. i salute the new and vibrant cristiano and rooney. manu 99 is back. the treble is alive.

i was in town most of today snapping photos with my new baby. its good to realise the wonderful photos it can bring and more importantly the limitations of my setup. its really good to realise what you can take and what you cannot after trying it out and getting to know exactly what you should be spending on. it makes planning the hobby much better and much more intriguing. it is nevertheless an expensive hobby but a worthy one. you will understand what i mean.

its quite pixelated because of the conversion, plus some the originals were rather grainy. i shall work hard to improve that area of photography, meanwhile something im much better in - enjoy.
