there were many things on my mind this weekend, going thru them as i zipped through the city on one of the best creation in singapore, the mrt. but they just slowly slipped out of my mind as time passed.
have you ever pondered how long more your parents are going to live? that perhaps in just another 20 years, when you are 30+/40, they will call it a day? its amazing, we are just talking about 20 years this short amount of time. are you able to look back and say you were the best son/daughter they cud ever have?
we all have our own dreams, the mighty ones. but they fade as time goes by, either bounded by matters at home, or by the luxury of things at present hence the unwillingness to take a gamble and a shot at one's dreams. is that necessarily bad?
the problem with many of us is that we dont ask ourselves questions. we cant grow
the problem with few of us is that we ask questions and try to find the answers, in the end only to realise the interconnectedness of this entire situation and finally putting it at ease into our minds that there's no right or wrong, no good or bad distinctions in this world. we make one big round to square one.
now i hope you get my point.
ok, sun yanzi's new album's quite a revelation actually, niguang's such a hot song tat im listening to 933 just for it, cause i haven had much time source for it. and the good thing is im off tomorrow, which gives me a really nice break from the hectic weekend i just had. it was quite disappointing to watch manu draw with middlesbrough on saturday but the smile's back onto most of the fans' faces as chelsea drew newcastle today, allowing manu to stay 3 points ahead. its such a wonderful season, such a pulsating finish. such is the draw of soccer, the attraction of the english premier league. and oh, i just relised how badly unupdated my friends links are, check out some new additions, hope they give u a bigger network of links from my page ;)
im quite intrigued, cause ppl from all over the world are visiting this mini blog, from canada iran(im superbly amazed), america, australia, china, thailand, malaysia. good good, i guess i shud keep up the readership! aint haf any good photos this weekend, stay tuned for next!
as for tmr, its a good day for shopping at vivocity (:
