oh gosh, i just realised my tp is on 22nd june and i haven gotten a single vehicle practice! yucks yucks, so much for maximising my wkends, i quite forgotten about the pressing need to rehearse for the performance on 22nd july. my fren just got his 2nd tp date, courtesy to a kerb mounting during d-change. im like quite fascinated abt that because maybe a saloon car's harder to control i guess. yea, maybe the mirror aint big enough for us to see clearly the kerb position and for judging speed. ops, did i mention the wheels of the cars are so tiny as compared to a land rover? ok, i hope i do not have to pop up these excuses on 22nd june. get over with it and be able to drive all the way into thailand. i cant seem to understand people who get so excited over a retarded license, exclaiming that they are able to drive to school or to camp with their new car. sorry, i meant their dad's car. its even more intriguing that they come and talk all about their speeding experience and the close shave with the speeding machine or some traffic police on an imaginary hot pursuit.
spiderman 3 is much more than a movie smack in the start of may. its an entire whopping industry! just at PS alone, there's some dozen movie slots for it alone with which the tickets are already sold out since morning the same day. singaporeans are an amazing buncha guys and our eagerness to spend money for movies is insane. its even more amazing to see teenagers in the late night movie theatre and hanging out in the bus stops along douby ghaut waiting for their night riders home. wasnt there supposed to be a curfew for them sometime ago? or maybe within a space of 6 months the world has changed so much without my knowledge. come another 6 months i think that wud then be the biggest change with my delight as well as the other guys with me. its exactly 6 months left on this very day. unlike how our teachers wud dedicate this corner of the whiteboard to the countdown for the O/A level exams, we are the most motivated bunch who have already left countdown calendars all over the place in camp. its is almost time. and like what my fren says, we are smelling it. rock on guys, its been a real journey to speak about.
