i think when you come out of the education world, you will meet and experience many kinds of people along the way and their modus operandi at work. its nice to have such an exposure though it comes with a cost of more anger and at times, though very little, smiles. you will have people who take control of everything and no suggestions will be able to penetrate until something wrong occurs. you will meet people who are good actors, those who never really pondered what is their life actually about. you will meet people who succumb to the bo-pian act and have to carry out their obligations even with absolute disgust and disagreement with the practicality of the proposed idea. there will be people who fight, who care for their men, who act as a leader when they are not. there will be great people who come around give a smile and pat you on the back and say well done, even thou how busy he may be, just to show sincere appreciation. its amazing. but its such a great learning experience on how i shud shape up my character in the future. i think im will be a person who is extremely hands-on, i hate having people to do the work for me simply because it has to be done perfect and the only perfect is done myself. i will be nice to people thou i cant hold my frustrations much just that i refrain from scolding because its simply wrong of a person to do that. i will understand the position i am coming from and make it absolutely necessary to ask for opinions before i go ahead - this im still learning because of the perfectionist nature, i find it hard to insist that i loosen up, but wells i hafta try! i notice that for things i dun agree upon, i prefer to let others take over the act and let them continue with it with complete freedom. i guess i work that way. i dont think im an ambitious person in the ladder game, neither will i be, but i insist in top quality work turned in. its not for anything in return, but its for doing the best i have to do and doing what i believe in. its important for a person to find out who he is and who he wants to be down the road. we will all age and continue our journey in the working world which will span 20-30 golden years before we prepare our last words for this world. its an impetus now to grapple with that. im still learning and finding out who i want to be in time to come. its taking shape pretty well i figure.. have yours been molded too?
ndp rehearsal today was classic. i was called 'chu' like 100 times by the SAF sm but surprisingly its 100% not the same feeling as a master calling his dog in my unit. i felt happy, i felt willing to do something whenever he calls for me. i guess its the leadership style. i admire him for his honesty, his amicability and his firmness through humour. the coolest thing is i guess he just found out my name not too long ago and that's the easiest for him to remember so now he keeps calling for me. -.- anyways, it was a nice day, a full dress rehearsal today. i aint know what's the occasion for it. i guess its the asean summit going on in singapore so delegates staying in the nearby hotels would be able to be given a visual treat to the spectacular which will take place in august.. that's how the saf works i guess - there's always a reason to show off. splendid atmosphere down at the marina bay platform, its gonna be a great unprecedented experience this time round. hope these photos whets your appetite for the grandeur of the upcoming ndp!
