for the past month, the thing on the back of my mind has always been the penalty to pay if i dont pass first time my tp. heh, guess its all over now. 22nd june, and i cleared it with the help of a very very nice examiner. now i need a car! anyone rich enough to lend me one? haha. ok its really nice to haf it over and that there's spare cash to splurge on other things now, like going travelling rather than spending needlessly on learning driving.. ok i must confess its also really great not to be seeing ur instructor again, no more crap talking in e car when u are really trying ur best to filter lane and at e same time answer some mind boggling qn he keeps posing. heh tat's enough. good lucks to the many ppl i know taking this year, its a whirlwind of 30 mins in tthere, make it happen :)
heh, this is my mom. lemme introduce her... err, ok, this is not a session talking abt her, but more that im happily playing with my new 50mm prime lens i just bought after passing TP heh. looks really sharp and neat. loving it!you know, i think its really abt maturity now that you see most of us reading books, newsweek, time and nat geographic during our free time out of our own free will. its amazing how we used to clamour abt being forced to digest articles from the dreadful political magazines versus how now we complain abt not having it around in our free time. its maturity i guess. just like most of us never knew the significance of A levels until the last lap or the post race analysis. i've always been telling myself to read up nat geog for the wonderful pictures and articles they haf, to fill up abit on the interesting articles in newsweek but i haven really been able to read them so far. im always 'busy'. i dunt know with what thou. but, i have made vast progress with My Sister's Keeper, its going real fine and to the last few chapters its really exciting esp how the author narrates on death gripping the family. its so so vivid. i must push on and read finish this wonderful book! i haf lotsa more books i bought yet to read. argh.
anyways, do go and catch oceans 13, transformer and silver surfer. thou im kinda going to skip silver surfer since i hadnt even watched the original f4 comics, let alone the original movie. shud be catching oceans sometime soon since i managed to get jing to watch transformer with me todays. it was not bad, gd - expected- mix of emotions and action in the show. its worth a 8 dollars watch, trust me. and oh yes, the soundtrck's gd man. one mroe thing, amk hub's cathay is really new and clean haha. ops no link. ok.
