i assume this period of conclusion will provide me with the best opportunities to recover the lost time and embark on a boosting ride into freedom. and it looks set to be.
over the past 1 week, i have managed to sit down and finally sort out much of my room, organising all my study stuff and going thru the really hilarious and corny stuff ever penned down or crapped out, making sure i knew where kept what, settling quite afew of the items on my wishlist, really really settle my UCAS application with much advice from many, look at some courses available to be taken up right now and haf a really really PROPER full day out with my buddies.
trust me, its this period that makes you feel all the shit suffered is finally over. over.
yesterday was really crazy. we had lunch over at jing's house. his cooking is nice and in appropriate quantities. tat always got the few of us to come together for a nice meal and take a really lot of shit. can you imagine getting cramps in the cheeks just over some newater discussion. er like, new-water shudnt be pronounced new-water but instead neeeeeeeater. but seriously the entire idea is that singapore is pushing this idea too far. its just a nationalistic approach to develop it, and we are making a damn big hooha about it worldwide. so singapore. no wonder mathathir hates us. ANYways, the fun part came when we took jing's nissan sunny out for joyrides. we tried to go around serangoon, gardens area, seletar estate, jalan kayu, seletar camp and seletar airport and sight-see. haha and we got stuck trying to figure out how the hell to get to seletar reservoir road when the map doesnt show a connecting road to it. in the end we gave up haha. night came, we drove down to upper bukit timah for some nice western food at the hawker centre and made our way over to hcjc for their mooncake festival. its quite amazing at the feel the students haf for the school.. it struck me as much deeper and more sincere than the 'happening' vj where i held high regards for. wells, im still an aj student after all. :p haha. ok, we topped the day up with some nice coffee treat at gardens.. had damn gd laughs over there too.

oh yes, i was the driver! muahaha

its really these times that make the weekends feel gd again, and not some "oh shit, i have guard duty." and "yea, exercise on saturday and sunday" kind of shit. oh yes, and when this 2 months passes, we are closer to another breathtaking journey of few years where maybe when we come together for the 1231231th time, we would be each in a nissan sunny. (: but meanwhile, the next up event would be the bkk trip for the 4 of us in october! heh. cant wait.
on a different note, today is not really a gd day when i saw at around 7pm this piece of news on CNA while i was eating my dinner: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/6997381.stm
its a mixed feel of being afraid, heaving a sigh of relief and feeling for the people. just less than 1 year back i was seated in one of their airplane, little unknown to much of singaporeans. it was really a brave decision to take a return airfare from bkk to hatyai.
passengers boarding the one-two-go airlines. you can see the words at the bottom quite vaguely.
the plane's coat of paint wasnt reeally tat gd...
sometimes its really hard to balance between being rational that air accidents are so much lower in probability than say car or sea accidents and such things seldom happen and the fact that a cheapo carrier has a higher probability of having such a happening. that time i guess my consideration was availability and money. wells, shaken? maybe, but i guess it still will not put me off to situations of like SQ is the only way to go or stuff like that. i've always been a normal person and i dont see how to put myself on a higher social status that 'allows' me to be more shielded against dangers than others. maybe tat's just my perception i guess.
anyways.. you people should check out facebook for those without it! its a crazy invention with an endless amount of shit you could do. when alvin told me it was interactive, i tot maybe jst give it a try, i realised it was much more than tat. haha. jump shit people, friendster is passe!
