i dont think i will ever get to remember most of my professors just as they would not remember me..
but there is this guy that has, quite has left quite a deep impression.
he is this nepal-born professor who lectures electricity.
as you can see, i am doing this electricity module this sem as part of an elective. and i can tell you, from the way he lectures and in his eyes, you see the passion he has and the life he as led for electricity. yes, you can roll your eyes but that is the same for any one you may respect and be impressed by in other field of study for which you may come from. it is the spark that these people send to our unknowing brains, leaving that indelible mark and many a time, much excitement about the subject.
it is as telling to figure out that this professor has lived a life for his very own country. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7822107.stm
he did mention about nepal's electricity system in his first 2 lectures. excerpts.
and now i do read it on the bbc.
it is sad though to come to terms that his dream for nepal may never be fulfilled anytime soon.
