tick tock tick tock

returning home, i was greeted by this red rectangular box.
it is a box of prepacked yusheng ingredients.
and i had the freshest of all memories about celebrating cny with the yusheng toss at home
with the same box and in the same style.
it felt terribly like yesterday.
just that this time we are all older.
and cny is around the corner once again.
i sighed heavily.

it is with such force that sweeps us along.

everytime it is 'next year will be better'
i guess they have not faced with death lingering around the corner
or at least a brush with an illness that grabs them,
leads them into a cold turkey room and rob them of the very
smugness they have with time.

i am still struggling.

stop and pause.
take a deep breath.
and understand life. and life around me.
to really appreciate the reason to be on earth.
and my purpose and objective in this few years around.

one day.
give it up. all up.
i have already proven myself.
