soccer is a passion.
i think for many of my frens and me, between football and say, err bgr or even maybe, sex, we would unanimously choose the former. no 2nd thoughts man, its how soccer is people.
manchester united is going to play arsenal later, really hope they win. its been like 10 odd years of supporting manu. its prolly because of their achievements in the beginning but now its getting clearer that the love for them is one of admiration of determination, a squad that never gives up. the mentality of you-score-one-and-i-will-score-3-times-more. that's how it should be in life, that's how a great team plays. the manu was lost for 2 years, and its beginning to be found right this season.
MANU ALL THE WAY!
watched chelsea and liverpool meaningfully at my fren's house while celebrating kim's 21st bday. man, reminds me of how old im going to be soon. of cos, i wun get such a grand scale celebration la. its amazing how soccer guys can come together on the pitch and translate that camaraderie into frenship that describes our memories. had fun eating, drinking and watching the game with lotsa familiar faces, and like what kim said, its even more fabulous on that very night that chelsea got thumped. what i felt was even better was every one of us there supported liverpool, for one great club. manchesterunited :) woow. it was great cheering together, screaming our asses off right at the 4th minute when kuyt scored for liverpool right when we were pooling our cups together for some coffee wine with 15.5% alcohol. it was a perfect timing, we all went crazy, and josh had to go banging on the host's glass sliding door that incurred some wrath of the brother hah. pennant's goal was another sublime stunner that was so exquisitely executed to perfection. chelsea is finally going right down. down where they rose from. the wrapping up of the performance can only be seen from drogba's fake in the freekick, fooling everyone including his own players, slipping the ball to an unnoticing ballack which lobang-ed him. what a team, what we cud say is that money cant buy you a perfect squad, its the bonding and chemistry of people that makes it click. manchesterunited is finally back on track with a system that works, and like what jing says right from the start of the season when fulham was trashed 5-1, manu 99 is back.
welcome back, manchester united.
welcome back, the passion for soccer.
