went for the moe scholarship interview this tuesday. met a hwa chong girl there too, well she initiated the conversation so i carried on, otherwise i doubt i really had any intention to talk since it was waiting for my turn.. but tat aside, the interview was gd, until the end when the questions became really not in the way i predicted man: how is physics relevant in this world?, how effective has SPA been? in your personal statement you said you want to be an aerospace engineer, why the change to teaching now? (i admit i did predict this question, but the answer that came out from me was not really unique but rather, pre-planned hastily b4 i went into the room. the worse thing was the vj principal who asked me that question threw me a 'i-know-you-are-not-truely-into-teaching' face which was really... haha demoralising?) wells, other than that, i tot the questions i handled quite well, to expectations. otherwise the answers were quite normal and non unique. there was like 4 ppl seated within 2m from me la.. -.- vj, rj principal and 2 others from MOE. gosh, it was really stressing given the face i had when i stepped out of the room. i had almost lost quite abit of hope haha. yea, sighs.
anyways, 2 days down the road, i received a beautiful phone call telling me to attend this psychological assessment and tea session with fellow scholarship applicants and the 2nd perm sec of education. wells, it kinda changed everything again, looks like hopes are still going for my that application. do hope that things go even more fine and be able to haf something on the table to really consider. looks like things are changing for gd too! hope it keeps up, and i will not fail myself at this ending passage.
